Provide the Following Information for Service to Your Business
- $50 membership deposit plus $30 service charge, plus applicable taxes
- Consumer Deposit.

- Depending on the size of the service, a contract may be required
Consumer Deposits
Deposits for commercial accounts will be set at two times the highest monthly billing within the last six years for an existing account. In lieu of a deposit for a commercial account, members/applicants may acquire and provide to the cooperative a letter of credit from a reputable financial institution equal to the amount of the required deposit. The cooperative reserves the right to refuse a letter of credit from a financial institution that the cooperative determines not to be reputable.
Moving into an Existing Building
Please be sure to have all of the listed information available.
Renting or Leasing a Building for Business Purposes
In addition to the information above, please also be prepared to provide:
- A rental receipt or lease agreement.

In an effort to conform to the document formatting standards required by Mississippi state law, Dixie Electric’s management is requiring that all easements be printed on legal paper. No other size paper will be accepted.
