Dixie Electric Power Association’s Annual Meeting is held in October each year. Two or three board directors, who serve three-year terms, are elected at the Annual Membership Meeting. Starting in June of each year, information about the annual meeting will be in Today in Mississippi magazine and local media.
You can participate in the annual meeting by mailing in your absentee ballot or proxy, voting online through your SmartHub account at the Dixie Electric website or the SmartHub app, using an email link sent to all email accounts on file, or in person at our annual meeting. The ballot and proxy are mailed to your residence along with your official meeting notice approximately 30 days before the Annual Meeting.

The 2026 Annual Meeting of the Membership is scheduled for Tuesday, October 20, at 4 p.m. In-person voting will be held between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m., and the annual meeting will be held in person at 4 p.m. If you are unable to attend the meeting, you can view the annual meeting below once the meeting is adjourned. The annual meeting flier and candidate bios will be available in August.
