Waynesboro District Office Sustains Damage from Gunfire

On Sunday, January 21, at approximately 1:40 p.m., Dixie Electric's Waynesboro district office received damage from gunfire from a suspect.

At this time, we cannot provide full details, as law enforcement officials are still investigating this crime. We can report the suspect is in custody by the Waynesboro police department, and there is no imminent threat to local citizens or our employees. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude that no employees, local citizens, or law enforcement were harmed during this event.

Our primary goals are to ensure all employees' safety, the facility's security, and the well-being of our members and community.
