There’s been an enormous amount of gratitude expressed on behalf of our two employees who aided in yesterday's apprehension of an armed individual who made threats to a local school. Although we can't comment on the situation, as it is an ongoing investigation, we do want to publicly thank our employees for their ability to pay close attention to their surroundings and to take action by notifying law enforcement of a potentially dangerous situation. This was a great example of God placing our employees at the right place at the right time, and for that, we give Him the glory. Most of all, we are extremely thankful that no one was injured during this incident.
A local Dixie Electric member and father of a Clara Elementary student, Brandon Walley, stated, "Everyone who loves a child at Clara School, every educator, administrator, employee, and their loved ones owe a huge amount of gratitude to these Dixie Electric employees." Although our employees humbly are not seeking attention or gratitude, we wanted to express our thankfulness for their concern for their community and the people who live there.
